Discover your creative potential at 7EDU’s Creative Writing Summer Camp 2025 and develop skills that lead to competition wins and academic success!

Do you know those moments? The ones where you have a great idea in your head, but once it’s on paper, it just doesn’t measure up. Frustrating, right? Or those times when you're told to be original and unique—but you're stuck with no idea where to start. 7EDU’s 5-Day Creative Writing Bootcamp will guide you into an exciting exploration of creative possibilities.

Why Join this Creative Writing Summer Camp:

This camp’s curriculum not only gives students that extra “pizazz” for writing narratives but also helps them develop their own unique tone and voice. With the rise of ChatGPT and nonstop social media communication, creativity in writing has become a second thought or even a lost art. The skills learned in this summer camp will help students identify and overcome creative blockages, while also preparing them to participate in notable writing competitions such as the Horizon Academic Essay Contest (usually held in summer), as well as contests hosted by well-known organizations like The New York Times, which offers monthly competitions, and Scholastic, which begins accepting entries in the fall.

Students will also gain a clear understanding of the importance of developing their own writing style, which will support them in academic writing, including Advanced Placement English classes and application essays for summer programs or college applications.

What to Expect:

  • Interactive sessions that focus on the creative aspects of writing structure, world-building, and voice.

  • Collaborative activities including video storytelling analysis and group skit creation to enhance creative thinking.

  • Dedicated writing time to work on personal narratives with guidance from experienced instructors.

  • Peer workshops to foster constructive feedback and revision skills.
