How To Motivate Yourself To Study

It's Monday already?! The new week is beginning and after a weekend of sleeping in and eating lots with friends and family, we are all back to being woken up by our ring alarms and the morning traffic reports. There is clearly a reason why most people dread Mondays and wake up cranky.

Maybe you were having a Netflix TV binge-a-thon, or a late-night, some students might not be getting their recommended amount of sleep. It can be difficult to learn and study in the morning... as the saying goes "the struggle is real."

Here are 4 easy steps on how you motivate yourself to study (when you really really don't want to) in the morning.

1. Drink a cup of water

There's no better way to start your day than some hydration with some good ol' H2O. Drink a full glass of water to quench your thirst and rehydrate. This will provide an au natural energizing boost.

2. Make your bed

To begin the day (and I mean really start it), is to make your bed! You will be less inclined to snuggle into your comfy comforters if you have already prepped and cleaned it.

3. Eat Something Deliciously Good For Breakfast

Make yourself some blueberry banana pancakes, an omelette, or a smoothie! Don't opt for a quick bowl of stale cereal - a healthy and yummy breakfast in the morning will wake you up and give you the energy that you need to get started with your day.

4. Dress In Something That Makes You Feel Good

A good outfit can get your day started off on the right foot; if you are feeling comfy while looking great, you will exude the confidence and motivation that you need to study!

Changing and adding little tweaks to your morning routine can have a drastic impact on your motivation and study habits; these are some guiding steps to get you started!
