The SAT test date scheduled for Saturday, March 9th is just around the corner. After months of practice and test prep, your skills and strategies are going to finally be put to test.
What to bring:
Your Admissions Ticket
Acceptable Photo ID
Two No. 2 pencils with erasers
Drinks or snacks for your break (make sure you have breakfast before you arrive)
EpiPens are permitted without the need for accommodations. These must be placed in a clear bag and stored under the student’s desk during testing.
What not to bring:
Digital watches that can record, play audio, text or video content
MP3 audio players, iPods, iPads, laptops, notebooks, PDAs or any other personal computing device
Any texting device
Cameras
Timers of any type
Protractors, compasses, rulers
Highlighters, colored pens or pencils
Pamphlets or papers of any kind
On the test date, make sure you arrive 15-30 minutes early to give yourself enough time for registration. Make sure you bring your admissions ticket and that you have arrived to the correct test center.
Prior to your exam date, make sure you bring the appropriate materials and leave behind prohibited items. Although it is not required, watches without audible alarms are suggested so you know exactly how long you have per section. Make sure that you go through this list as well as College Board because if you are caught with any of the prohibited items, your scores may be canceled.
