Why This Class:
AP US History is considered as one of the most challenging AP exams. According to the College Board, each year only around 11% and 18% students who take AP US History achieve scores of 4 and 5, respectively. It takes an extended period of time and ample application opportunities to master key historical and conceptual thinking skills. Unfortunately, in a typical classroom setting, students receive little timely feedback on their writing practice. As a result, by their AP US History test, many students still have not developed adequate historical thinking skills and mastered the writing skills necessary to do well in the test.
