Critical Reading and Writing 2026 Summer Bootcamp
Led by an experienced English instructor with many years of teaching writing, this program is designed to strengthen students’ analytical thinking, creativity, and academic writing skills in a supportive and intellectually engaging environment.
Middle School Program - Rhetoric, Critical Thinking, and Analysis
Grades: 7–8
Dates: June 8 – July 15, 2026

This course introduces middle school students to the foundations of effective writing through rhetoric, structured thinking, and analytical reading. Students will explore how arguments are built, how evidence supports ideas, and how language shapes meaning.
Through guided practice and interactive discussions, students will learn to:
Develop clear and logical arguments
Analyze texts with depth and precision
Strengthen paragraph and essay structure
Improve clarity, style, and persuasive techniques
By the end of the program, students will gain greater confidence in expressing complex ideas and crafting thoughtful written responses—skills essential for academic success in middle school and beyond.
High School Program - Academic Writing Workshop

This workshop is designed to prepare high school students for advanced academic writing. Emphasizing structure, argumentation, and critical analysis, the course guides students through the process of planning, drafting, revising, and refining formal essays.
Students will focus on:
Crafting strong thesis statements
Writing analytical and argumentative essays
Integrating textual evidence effectively
Developing academic tone and precision
Strengthening revision and editing strategies
